Our academy places a strong focus on traditional Taekwon-do instruction based on the teachings of General Choi Hong Hi. Students progress through the curriculum units according to their rank level requirements to advance:
1. Patterns (known as Tul in Korean) - Traditional Chang Hon (Blue Cottage) Patterns
2. Fundamental Movements (stances, blocks, techniques)
3. Combinations (kicks, hand techniques)
4. Self-Defense (ho sin sul)
5. Step Sparring: 1 step, 2 step, and 3 step (Ilbo, Ibo, and Sambo Matsogi), Pre-arranged sparring
